Beginning in the summer of 2014, the Taiwanese manufacturer of audio products in the consumer electronics segment will equip its DSP karaoke product series with the patented stereo sound expansion system from Germany.
Hamburg/Taipei – For Kronoton, the cooperation means the introduction of HDSX® into the Asian market. For almost three decades, BePro International has successfully developed and produced digital sound processes. BePro distributes its products to China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Korea, Canada, France and the USA.
In five karaoke amplifiers HDSX® will be making it possible to experience new, dynamic, multi-dimensional, multi-layered listening pleasure. "With HDSX®, our customers will have the feeling of being right in the middle of the stage, right in the middle of the sound – for an even greater live music experience", Jack Wang, General Manager of BePro International, states enthusiastically and adds: "A crucial advantage over BBE and SRS in the field of real-time entertainment is also a much shorter delay time."
Gunnar Kron, Managing Director of Kronoton, regarding the new partner: "In the karaoke amplifiers HDSX® will be used precisely there where it has its origin: in music. Through the new type of stereo sound expansion, the singers will experience music which fills the room better and is more vivid than ever before."
Our partners value the mutual cooperation between our companies:
- Working together with our partner Cadence®, we successfully presented HDSX® to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and it can now also be licensed via Tensilica® HiFi DSP Cores.
- Moreover, we were able to acquire the audio/video software specialist P-Product as an additional partner of ours during the CES. "We distinguish ourselves through an easy and successful implementation style when cooperating with our customers and look forward to continuing to support Kronoton during the porting of its technologies to DSP platforms as well as during the fulfilment of special tasks in the area of developmental and IP work", states Michael Vulikh, CEO of P-Product.
- In addition, the Hamburg Planetarium has extended its licensing agreement for the use of HDSX® in its shows for an additional year. "During the past year, we have indeed installed an audio 3D system in our 'Night Sky Dome'. Not least our DJs, who have shows here monthly, have asked us to continue to use HDSX®", explains Thomas W. Kraupe, Director of the Hamburg Planetarium. "The easy implementation of HDSX®, the uncomplicated algorithms and the sound expansion without artificial effects are simply impressive and unique", states Kraupe in outlining the extension of the partnership.
